PRESSFESTEvent

On the first day of PRESSFEST, Friday the 28th of August, we invite everybody to participate on a walking tour of Tartu. The tour will take us by some of the city’s landmarks, which we’ll get up close and personal with to find the textures hidden around them.

We’ll gather by Kultuurilaev next to Tartu Kaubamaja at 16.00 and the final stop of the tour is TYPA centre, where everybody will get the chance to bind the textures they gathered into a little booklet. The walking tour ends around 18.00.

Participation is free and we will provide all of the necessary materials. However if you have your absolute favourite papers and pencils, chalks or charcoals, feel free to bring them with. We’re not stopping you!

On the same day in Aparaaditehas, all galleries will open their doors to visitors for Galleries’ Night vol. 19. At 18.00 we are opening a new long-term exhibition at TYPA Gallery, titled “Constellations in Metal”.
