PRESSFEST: Festival Closing

Let’s finish PRESSFEST with a fun experimental printing workshop at Townhall square on the 30th of August at 15.00, where we attempt to print with different household appliances like pasta maker, juice press, 3D printed press or even with a wafer machine! You are welcome to just observe and see what others have come up with. But if you want to join, find a suitable machine from your home or invent a new one! Paper and inks are provided by us.

P.S. As we are using oil based inks for printing that cannot be washed out from the clothes, be prepared to have some ink stains on your clothes or wear an apron. 

For children, we’re offering a fun vegetable printing workshop! In honour of TYPA’s museum cat Ruby we’ll be printing onto cat-shaped paper using halved vegetables, so that everyone can create their very own dream cat. At the end of the workshop, each child can take their printed cat home.

NB! We recommend wearing clothes that can get stained during the workshop! For this we will use water based inks.
