Scrap Night vol.4: NOTEBOOK

Thank you all for the energy that you brought to our previous Scrap Night, it’s wonderful to see how you are building this creative community, exchanging skills, ideas and smiles!

Our next event will take place on Wednesday, 7th of May at 5:30 PM! This edition’s theme is notebook making. 

TYPA is well known for our upcycled stationery and it would be a shame if we didn’t try to make some during a scrap night! This Wednesday, you will have the chance to make your own little notebooks – with collage covers and a mix of different paper types as pages! It’s up to you what materials you want to use, just like it’s up to you what to fill the pages with later. We will be there to help you out with simple binding techniques, or to join you in experimenting with more complicated ones. One thing is sure – every scrap notebook will be unique and we can’t wait to get inspired by your ideas!

The events are our voluntary project, carried out by TYPA’s ESC volunteer Asia and education manager Karoliina. The aim of this is to reduce the leftover scrap waste we have at TYPA. 

Due to the rising prices of snacks there will be a symbolic fee of 1 euro so everybody could have a sweet treat to keep up the mood!

No registration is required. And, as always, it’s completely fine to also come make more collages or zines if you prefer this over notebooks; we are definitely not running out of scraps.
