The New Life of Old Books
From December 10 to January 15th we’re showcasing a book art exhibition “The New Life of Old Books” by hobby artist and craft enthusiast Karine Andrjuškevičjute.
Karine discovered her way to book art from of a desire to challenge herself. Her book folding experiments, which surprised many, received such positive feedback that she decided to put together a traveling exhibition to introduce this branch of art. The exhibition “The New Life of Old Books” has been showcased in 17 libraries to date, and from the 10th of December until 15th of January we’re glad to host it at TYPA.
Visiting the exhibition is free of charge. TYPA’s paper hall is open for visitors 12pm – 6pm from Wednesday – Sunday.
See more of Karine’s work on her Instagram page.
