Specialist Print and Bookbinding Course for Artist and Educators
TYPA’s specialist print and bookbinding course is designed for artists and educators who are looking to enhance their artistic skills and incorporate new techniques into their teaching practice.
During the course, participants will create handmade Concertina books, complete with Cyanotype covers and either linocut pages or typesetting, depending on personal preference.
The Specialist Print and Bookbinding Course is aimed towards ERASMUS+ educators, artists, and teachers who want to expand their skill set and bring new ideas to their classrooms.
Duration: 2.5 days
Number of participants: 5 – 8
Price: 320 € per student
The course includes:
- A tour of TYPA
- Cyanotype workshop
- An introduction to linocut or letterpress printing
- Printing the book on historic machines
- A full bookbinding day, with both concertina and single signature binding.
Not included:
- Lunch or accommodation, however we have good connections with Tartu and would be happy to arrange this for you.
