TYPA CentreWorkshopsEvent

Thank you all so much for participating in the Scrap activities during Aparaaditehas Festival, it was a pleasure to host you on that special day and we hope you had lots of fun!

Our next event will take place on Tuesday 9th of September, as part of the Tartu Art Week, at the usual time 5:30 PM. We will try some paper pulp painting!

It’s not the first time we make paper on a scrap night, but we thought that it’s time to step up our game: this Tuesday the focus will be specifically on paper pulp painting. We have tiny scraps in all possible colours. Why not treat them like a collection of pigments? Our idea is to prepare small containers of paper pulp in various colours and use it to make some more complicated pictures. It might be a slower and more meditative process, but we promise you – the results will be worth it!

The events are our voluntary project, carried out by TYPA’s ESC volunteer Asia and education manager Karoliina. The aim of this is to reduce the leftover scrap waste we have at TYPA.

Due to the rising prices of snacks there will be a symbolic fee of 1 euro so everybody could have a sweet treat to keep up the mood!
No registration is required.

The first rule of Scrap Club is to have fun and be yourself 🌟
