Performance workshops by Martina F. Kartelo
The history of printing is a history of making the written word more and more widely accessible. It means preserving knowledge, carrying thoughts and feelings, amplifying voices, fostering connections… In its essence, book making is all about sharing stories.
This August, we invite you to have a closer look at this aspect of printing, through participating in a very special project: a series of performative workshops led by artist Martina Freyja Kartelo!
If you are interested in new, interactive ways to explore creativity, want to meet people through voice, movement, and emotion, and want to tell a story to other people but haven’t had the chance to do it yet… then this project is for you!
Martina Freyja Kartelo is Croatian interdisciplinary theater performer and educator who already collaborated and performed with Typa in 2013 and now she is back for the second round!
The event series is free of charge and everyone above the age of 16, regardless of their theater or drama experience and skills level, is welcome to join.
The very first meeting takes place on the 5th of August, at 5pm at TYPA Centre!
If you would like to participate, make sure to register yourself for the first meet up here: https://shorturl.at/bTStb
Working hours and times will be adjusted to the needs of the group, the workshops will be held in English. There will be the possibility to perform publicly at the end.
P.S. In case of any questions – don’t hesitate to contact us via social media or by writing directly to Martina: martinafreyjakartelo@gmail.com
