Kristiin Hanimägi is an artist who works with experimental photo processes. She’s mostly intrigued by cyanotype, pinhole photography and black and white analogue photography. Kristiin has lead TYPA’s photography club and instructed many darkroom courses.
The course is suitable for beginners who haven’t developed photos in a darkroom before. We will learn how to develop a black and white photo and the basics of working in a darkroom.
Before the course participants will get a roll of film to take pictures on which will be developed in the darkroom with the instructor. One frame from the film will be enlarged on photo paper.
We ask all registered participants to come pick up their film from TYPA about a week before the course so it can be used to take pictures before the course. It won’t be necessary if you already have a film with photos that you want to develop.
