Scrap Night vol. 9: CARDBOARD PRINTING
Our next event will take place on Monday, 4th of August, at the usual time 5:30 PM. This time we will be doing cardboard printing!
During Scrap Nights we have already done collages, weaving, papermaking and cardboard animals but no printing yet! At the printing museum! This time we are going to remedy that mistake and do cardboard printing. TYPA has a lot of leftover cardboard scraps from notebook making, commissions and workshops. Cardboard scraps can be used to make a printing plate by cutting out shapes and gluing them onto a board. This can then be inked and pressed and ta-da! the print is done. As always we will be here to help, instruct and provide inspiration if needed 🙂 Â
The events are our voluntary project, carried out by TYPA’s ESC volunteer Asia and education manager Karoliina. The aim of this is to reduce the leftover scrap waste we have at TYPA.Â
Due to the rising prices of snacks there will be a symbolic fee of 1 euro so everybody could have a sweet treat to keep up the mood.
No registration is required.
The first rule of Scrap Club is to have fun and be yourself <3
