Linocut workshop with Riin Maide
TYPA invites everyone to linocut workshop with Riin Maide! In the workshop both beginner and already skilled artists can try linocut technique and even prepare an artwork to be submitted to our annual linocut contest.
Participating in workshop is free! For registering please write typa@typa.ee
Workshop is lead by a winner of TYPA’s linocut contest 2021 in Jury’s Favourite category Riin Maide. She is an artist who practices print, installations and scenography. In her works she addresses the subjects like memory and presence. She was also the co-curator of the last Tallinn Print Triennial youth exhibition. Riin has graduated from Estonian Art Academy faculty of fine arts and has studied scenography in DAMU in Prague in Alternative and Puppet Theater department.
In 2020 Riin won the Young Artist Prize of EAA and the scholarship of Edmund Valtman.
