Letterpress and paper art centre TYPA is happy to announce that the annual LINOCUT CONTEST has begun!
We invite all professionals and hobbyists from all over the world to compete in TYPA’s annual Linocut Contest!
This year, Estonia celebrates the Year of the Book, and TYPA has chosen Ex Libris for the theme of its annual contest. Latin for “from the books” or “from the library,” Ex Libris refers to decorative or printed labels placed inside books to show ownership. These often feature motifs that characterise the person or facility. Ex Libris usually include the owner’s name with the inscription.
Winners will be announced in four categories:
- Grand Prix
- Youth Prize (under 16 years)
- Public Prize
- TYPA Special Prize
Artwork must be submitted no later than 8th of April 2025. ((the postmark date will serve as proof)
