Ljudmila Swarczewskaja “Searching For the Falling Stars”
The title of the exhibition “Searching For the Falling Stars” is inspired by the poetry of Jaan Kaplinski, a famous Estonian poet an philosopher. Swarczewskaja has found many creative impulses from his poetry and each encounter with it gives the artist unexpected reflections and strong emotional impact.
Since 2016 Ljudmila Swarczewskaja has been passionately creating collages from her old sketches, hand painted and hand made paper. These new artworks have been created following the laws of harmony, and they reflect one way or another the events of our time.
The artist also believes, that intellect (no matter what kind) will modify the matter, and the creation of a spontaneous thought is always in the hand of the artist.
