Exhibition “Valge põld, must seeme” at Annelinn Library

On the 9th of November at 17.30 we will open an exhibition at Tartu Annelinn library about print making in the previous century. TYPA centres exhibition introduces the creation of printed materials starting from the making of paper all the way to printing and binding.

Even though today’s print houses are constantly upgrading themselves to keep up with the forever developing technology, then 40 years ago was the situation completely different. Getting to know ancient printing methods is a good way to get an idea of how today’s everyday and self-evident technical solutions changed the course of printing history.

The exhibition will be open until the 31st of December 2026.
