On the 23 March TYPA invites all creative minds to a monotype printmaking course. This course will explore monotyping as a very versatile form of printmaking, where you can use different approaches to create unique prints. For this course we will be using covers and illustrations from old books available at TYPA as our resource for the exploration of the technique. We can bring to life our own creative process with some of the stories from the old books.
Discover the diversity of monotypes! Monotype or monoprint is a printing technique where the image is painted onto a plate and then printed from it. Every print is unique, hence the name of the technique.
The course will be conducted in English. The course will take place in TYPA centre, from 1pm to 5.30pm
Any previous experience in printmaking is not needed to participate in this course.
Price: 60€/50€* *Discount applies to students up to age of 26, retired persons, persons with disability.
