Linoleumist kartulini. The Little Letterpress Exhibition in Tapa

In August the travelling exhibition of TYPA will go to Tapa. On the opening day, August 6th at 14:00 we will also have a workshop where all the visitors can print themselves a letterpress postcard!

The exhibition gives a short overview of the versatility of letterpress printing techinque. It presents a simple potato print, practical typeset letterpress print and artsy linocut print. We are exhibition posters from TYPA’s collection but also artworks by previous TYPA residency artists. In addition there will be information about letterpress printing, its specific techniques, work processes etc.

Visiting the exhibition is possible on library opening hours Mon-Fri 10–18, Sat 10–15.

The exhibition as well as the workshop are free!
