We have hosted over 100 artists so far and continue to offer a dynamic and varied residency program. Our 2023 Open Call is now open. The deadline is 19th of September 2022.
In 2023, thanks to our funding, we can offer two types of residencies: Nordic-Baltic Residencies and Open Access Residencies. Please find information for both these open calls below.
We are back once more with our successful residency program. We are continuing the program as before, except this year we can offer support to artists in political and financial need. We still prioritise exciting artists and are looking for artists who wish to explore print, paper and bookmaking. Although they do not have to be professional printmakers, they should have some wish to develop a project using TYPA’s facilities.
We are particularly excited to receive applications for projects in experimental print, book arts, community collaborations and more.
Please find more information in the link.
Thanks to funding from the Nordic Culture Point, we have been able to offer artists from Nordic and Baltic Countries extra support for their residency. We ask that these artists, who have more time and resources, are ambitious with their projects. That they look for ways to connect with the public of Tartu and engage with all that TYPA has to offer.
We are looking for experienced artists, who do not necessarily have an existing print practice but have a clear vision of how the residency will benefit them and what they can contribute to the city of Tartu
