The TYPA residency is one of the longest running art residencies in Southern Estonia. Each year we open our program to 12 international artists from all over the globe. We are looking for an active residency manager to take care of this exciting and diverse program and the artists, to introduce them to the Estonian art scene and to collaborate with international organisations.
The work includes the contacting the artists and organizing their residency; hosting tasks such as organising apartments, assisting with transport and any general questions which foreign visitors may have; on more creative note also helping artists to set up exhibitions, organize talks and workshops and ensuring they have a memorable and inspiring experience.
The right candidate must have an interest in in art – especially printmaking. Enjoy arts management and be well organised. Be a willing member of the TYPA team – helping out with other activities. Knowledge of the local art scene in Tartu and wider Estonia is desirable. Good use of English and Estonian is desirable.

Workload: ca 50%
Salary: 1040€ per full work load
