Rachel is a writer and artist from New York who resides in Tallinn. She is starting this week a residence of several months at the Printing Museum.
Rachel runs a monthly Sketch Night, which provides an opportunity for anyone (any background/skill level) to hang out and spend an evening drawing. At the end of September, she completed a large illustration project in collaboration with 39 other artists. She is currently collaborating with Beryl Foo, an artist in Hong Kong, China, who is illustrating one of Rachel’s short stories. For her residency project, she is using the linocut method to print a book featuring this story and the accompanying illustrations. The story is about Freedom.
