Artist-in-Residence, Denton Fredrickson (CAN), invites you to his studio to view his new work, A Horizontal Pattern for Special Cases. Combining collage and hand-drawn animation with electronics, motors, and projection, the installation is inspired by the stories, people, books, and films he experienced during his time here in Tartu. The installation is also the latest from his ongoing series, New Living Spaces, a title borrowed from a DIY home repair instruction manual produced during his childhood.
Pancakes, maple syrup, bacon, and a limited quantity of beer and wine will be provided.
Everyone is invited to meet the artist, experience some art and enjoy a nice automn evening!
The event will take place on the 25th of October at 7 pm, on the 3rd floor of Tartu Kunstimaja / Tartu Art House.
