TYPA ResidencyArtist in residence

Just at the right moment for the beginning of christmassy feelings, Amira Aranda from Mexico came to us. She wants to show Estonian winter motifs through her art. Amira is taking polaroid photos of her favourite figures to represent them through linocuts. Maybe the tiny deer from Tallinn or the trees in front of Amira’s flat, everyone can find their favourite picture.

Got interested? Our current artist in residence Amira Aranda is having her open studio event on the 20th of December at 3 pm at Pallas University of Applied Sciences. You are very welcome to ask the artist about her art, to see the process of her work and to feel the winter spirit in Amira’s artwork. There will be gingerbread and warm tea to warm you up!
Directions: Pallas University of Applied Sciences, Tolstoi building, 2nd floor, room no. 216.
