Elon Larsson was TYPA’s artist in residency for two weeks in October 2025.
Elon’s residency was supported by The Nordic Culture Point and Föreningen Svenska Tecknare.
Elon Larsson is a graphic designer and illustrator from Gävle, Sweden, with a passion for typography and lettering. During her residency at Typa, she explored the messages and meanings that different typography conveys and where the line between letterforms and abstraction goes.
She composed and printed posters and postcards and other small prints, testing out multiple different printing machines that our museum has to offer.
On October 12th she held a workshop in which she spoke about her explorations in the world of typography and lettering, and how to create letterforms from anything around you.
