During the tour, our one-on-one guide will take you through the history of communication – from the birth of paper to the development of bookbinding across the world. Starting in our unique paper kitchen, you will witness the process of papermaking from plant to sheet and even make one sheet yourself.

Every item in TYPA’s collection is kept in a working condition, so visitors will be able to witness our machinery in action – our automated printing presses and operational Linotype machine – and try out several of the machines. It is an excellent activity for families, as tours are educational and engaging for children and parents.
