We provide the space, tools and support for the art community of Tartu and through this, we hope to popularize the innovative and inclusive art of printmaking and graphic arts. We can host artists working with linocut and relief printing, intaglio; including copper and zinc etching, darkroom photography and basic screenprinting.

TYPA graphics studio can be used by anyone interested for an hourly or daily fee:

To start using the printing studio, you can choose a membership package that suits you and agree on a date. Getting acquainted with the studio is obligatory for all first-time users of the studio, and costs 12 €. The induction lasts about an hour.

The studio is open Monday to Sunday from 10:30 to 17:30. Time is calculated with 30 minute accuracy.

Studio membership – 65 € per month (at least three months)

Includes:

• use of the studio from Monday to Sunday
  personal equipment storage room
• participation in the annual group exhibition
• 10% discount on all TYPA workshops and courses
• information about exhibitions and other participation opportunities
• participation in the exchange of publications and the joint sending of works to external exhibitions
• discount on all workshops and activities

Studio membership for students – 42 € per month (no minimum time)

Includes:

• use of the studio on Wednesdays and weekends
• personal equipment storage room
• participation in the annual group exhibition
• 10% discount on all TYPA workshops and courses
• information updates about exhibitions and other participation opportunities
• participation in print exchanges and the joint sending of works to international exhibitions
• discounted studio hourly rate

unlimited printing ink – 12 € per month
one-time studio introduction – 12 € **
technical assistance – 25 € per hour
** Those who have not been involved in graphics before must attend a studio training (€ 80) or a TYPA course.
