It has now been a week since arriving in Tartu and I am absolutely enchanted. The town feels soulful and the residency is more than I was expecting. There have already been several networking occasions like exhibition openings, guided tours and a dinner full of so much new useful information for an artist.
Exciting new materials and ideas are reflecting in the pieces I am working on in my cozy studio in the center of Tartu and at the art school’s wood workshop. People are very friendly and helpful, this will be a memorable period.
