On the 14th of November, at 19.30, we are opening a new exhibition at Rõdugalerii. Finnish visual artist Tero Puha presents “Innocence ’93”, a new exhibition created during his residency at TYPA in Tartu. The project revisits a series of drawings Puha first made in the early 1990s — delicate, erotic and quietly humorous depictions of the human figure — and reinterprets them through contemporary printmaking techniques.
What began as fragile pencil studies has evolved into a layered dialogue between past and present, intimacy and distance, reproduction and rediscovery. At TYPA, Puha explored the materiality of paper, ink and repetition, producing a series of black-and-white risograph prints and a hand-bound Drum Leaf artist’s book. Together, these works form an intimate conversation about memory, desire and the enduring allure of the human form.
The exhibition extends across print and book formats, balancing precision and imperfection, mechanical rhythm and human touch. Innocence ’93 marks Puha’s first solo presentation in Estonia.
This exhibition is open from November 15th–December 14th 2025.
Rõdugalerii is located in the Aparaaditehas courtyard, from door nr 7 on the second floor. The gallery is open from Wed-Sun, 12.00–18.00.
