Time flies when you spend it doing what you enjoy among the most lovely and most creative people in town! It has already been a full year of our creative gatherings. We are grateful for each and every event – for all the scraps we re-used, all the friends we made, all the things we learnt. Our only birthday wish is for it to continue, so for the 20th Scrap Night we are preparing something special!
The anniversary event will start on Monday 30th of March, at the usual time 5:30 PM, and will go on until the last spark of creative power, even if it means until the next morning! We will make sure to prepare coffee and some extra snacks.
The theme of the event is a surprise, but we do hope you won’t be disappointed! It will be experimental, playful and messy (please dress accordingly!), it will involve scraps from our legendary Eternal Scrap Night and it might make you think of soup. It will require some time for preparation, but will allow lots and lots of creative freedom! To find out what we are thinking of, come on Monday to celebrate with us.
As always, there will also be a table with collage/zine materials set up in the room, so you can choose the activity you want to engage in.
NB! For those who didn’t have the chance yet (and for all of the new participants), there will be a possibility to get a Scrap Artist Certificate.
The events are our voluntary project, started by TYPA’s ESC volunteer Asia and education manager Karoliina. The aim of this is to reduce the leftover scrap waste we have at TYPA.
Due to the rising prices of snacks there will be a symbolic fee of 1 euro so everybody could have a sweet treat to keep up the mood
