On the 16th of August we start with a mokulito course at TYPA centre! The course takes place on two Saturdays: 16th and 23rd of August, and is conducted by Lembe Ruben.
Mokulito is a Japanese woodprinting technique where the image is drawn onto plywood with lithography ink and then printed as lithography – with water and lithographic printing ink. If needed, cutouts in the wood can be added as well.
During the course we can try two lithography techniques at once – transferring photos using the paper lito technique and printing using the plywood after etching.
The mokulito technique adds the texture of the wood to the image as well. Drawings can be added on the plate with special lithography ink or liquid bitumen.
On both days, the course is from 14:00-18:00 (4+4h)
The price of the course is 110€ /95€*
*Discount applies to students up to age of 26, retired persons, persons with disability.
Course will be conducted in both Estonian and English.
We recommend registering to the course as soon as possible to guarantee necessary equipment for everyone. Register here https://forms.gle/FqGGR4hnvikg6wkX6
