\"\"<\/a>During the short period Paul Pretzer, the Estonian-born Berlin painter, has spent in Tartu he has quickly grown attached to the city. He rides a bike, goes fishing in the Emaj\u00f5gi River and works on printmaking at the Printing Museum. As an artist, Paul likes to pick motifs from different classical artworks and then merge them together in his own specific way. This forms a somewhat hypnotizing and surrealistic world and a completely new context. During his residence, Paul replaced his usual working method \u2013 painting \u2013 with printmaking. Using the copper etching technique, he continues to create surrealist figurative works. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On the 29th of August at 7 pm Paul invites everyone to the opening of his exhibition in the Printing Museum\u2019s Balcony Gallery. The exhibition presents graphic works made during his residence and also earlier pieces. Visitors can also browse the catalogue that provides an overview of Paul\u2019s oeuvre.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
