\"\"<\/a>The Australian printmaker Jazmina has been waiting for a long time to be part of TAiR\u2019s program. How can we be so certain? Well, she started learning Estonian half a year before starting a long journey all the way from Australia. In addition to her enthusiasm, Jazmina has another reason for a considerable interest in Estonia. In fact, she has roots in one of the three Baltic States, Lithuania. Three months in Estonia is a great opportunity to continue her studies on the Baltic Region.<\/p>\n

Jazmina\u2019s residency\u2019s main focus is aimed at a subject quite astounding. She will be exploring the local folklore on female werewolves. After twenty years of research, a published thesis and countless amounts of linocuts, she has become a true expert on this matter. Jazmina\u2019s fascination with lycanthropy has driven her to do a thorough background search on Estonia\u2019s folklore on female werewolves. So there are great grounds for her to start working on artwork that will most definitely amaze the viewer visually as well as knowledge-wise.<\/p>\n

During the three-month residency from the 1st of August to the 31st of October 2017, there will also be a public artist talk during which Jazmina will share her findings and her expertise as a printmaker.<\/p>\n
