I arrived in Tartu after nearly 24 hours of\u00a0layovers, flights,\u00a0and a bus ride from Tallinn, and when I got here, I was told it was\u00a0the first warm day of the year. Not too far from my apartment and\u00a0the city center is my studio at Kunstimaja, which is filled with\u00a0light and high above the street and provides a quiet oasis to work in.\u00a0All of my adjustments in Tartu have been easy; the residency program\u00a0is very supportive while allowing you to carve out your own time and\u00a0shape your own experience, which is a very good balance for me.
