She studied print making at Leeds Arts University as well as the European Academy of Art in Brittany. With a passion for folklore and traditional printing techniques, her illustrations bring to life a dark universe on paper. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"799\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/typa.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/54713594828_5387961618_c.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17144\" style=\"width:464px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/typa.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/54713594828_5387961618_c.jpg 799w, https:\/\/typa.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/54713594828_5387961618_c-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/typa.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/54713594828_5387961618_c-512x342.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 799px) 100vw, 799px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>During her residency through May and June of 2025, her goal was to take advantage of everything TYPA had to offer. She printed a small collection of short stories she wrote with inspirations from her childhood mixed with Estonian folklore. Using TYPA\u2019s paper making facilities and recycled material, she created bespoke covers for her booklets. For this project, she decided her main focus was going to be something everyone at TYPA could get behind: cats! &#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>She says: \u201cFrom urban legends to ancient folklore, cats are seriously ever-present! And what better setting to work on a cat themed project than a studio with world famous printing cat Ruby?
