This is a duo-exhibition by TYPA&#8217;s residency artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nelly Toussaint and Tania B\u00e0kum have been in residence at TYPA for two months. They are different. Nelly is originally from France but has been living in Finland for eight years. Her main media are printmaking and embroidery. Tania is originally from Ukraine and works with performative photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8220;Embrace and Dance&#8221; is the mantra of their residency. In the creative process, not everything goes according to plan, and not everything happens perfectly or as one would like. That is why it is important to be able to maintain balance and to embrace one\u2019s mistakes. This is what they did. They worked to the fullest, while accepting the imperfection of the ideas as they were realized. And after that, they danced, accepting their work as \u201cgood enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8220;Embrace and Dance&#8221; is about the ability to keep a balance between expectations and results, and about working with imperfection in reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00f5dugalerii is at Kastani 42, in Aparaaditehas&#8217; courtyard, entrance door number 7, second floor.
