Today, the submissions are closed, and already on May 4th at 6pm, we invite you to the opening of the linocut contest &#8220;Movement&#8221; exhibition at the TYPA gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year we will choose 5 winners from the following categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grand Prix  \u2013 selected by the artists\u2019 committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth Prize \u2013 selected by the artists\u2019 committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public\u2019s Prize \u2013 selected on the Museum Night at TYPA on the 20th of May and through online vote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TYPA Special Prize \u2013 selected by the TYPA team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pressing Matters Special Prize \u2013 selected by John Coe, creative director and founder of the magazine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We left it up to the artists to interpret this year&#8217;s theme &#8220;movement&#8221;. There were many different and exciting approaches to the theme, and this year we achieved a real record with participation &#8211; a total of 160 people sent their work to the competition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At TYPA Gallery, you can see the interpretations in different linoleum cutting techniques by both children and adults, Estonians and foreigners, professionals and hobby artists.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome you to the exhibition from 4th of May to 25th of June during the museum&#8217;s normal opening hours from Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting TYPA Gallery is free for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our gratitude goes out to this year&#8217;s contest sponsors: Kuues Planeet, Zelluloos, Snitty, Raamikoda, V\u00e4rske R\u00f5hk ja Pressing Matters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":12730,"menu_order":0,"template":"","format":"standard","categories":[16],"class_list":["post-12734","exhibition","type-exhibition","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-typa-gallery"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
